Registration for our Hockey Beginner's Program will open in the month of September! The program usually runs late October through late February with practice sessions on Saturdays and Sundays. Our program is a great way to learn to skate and learn the basics of hockey. Equipment able to be rented for a fee (excluding skates).

The Elyria Ice Hockey Club was founded in 1960 in order to introduce the sport of ice hockey to the City of Elyria and Lorain County.  Elyria Ice Hockey Club (EIHC) is focused on the development of the player, and the importance of team work to enable individuals the ability to grow within the sport. We offer competitive and development options for all skill levels and utilize experienced volunteer coaches who are dedicated to assuring player improvement. EIHC Board members are committed to keeping player fees affordable for all levels of play, keeping the focus on the ice. EIHC plays at North Recreation Center in Elyria, which is owned and operated by the city, they are a valued partner and are committed to improving the rink for the enjoyment of both player and fan.
