AJ Vincent Beginners Program

Andrew James (“AJ”) Vincent died on November 27, 2010, the Friday after Thanksgiving, in a car accident right in front of his house.  The accident was caused by a driver under the influence of alcohol and drugs. In order to keep AJ’s memory alive and to try to make something positive out of this horrible loss, the club renamed the beginner program after AJ because of his love for the game.

The AJ Vincent Beginners Program, also known as Learn to Play (or in some circles Mini Mites), is a development program and the first step for players who are interested in playing youth hockey. This program usually consists of 3 to 8 year olds who are just beginning to play ice hockey, but ages older are also invited to learn All players must be registered with USA Hockey to participate in the AJ Vincent Beginners Program. The annual registration date for USA hockey begins April 1st. To register with USA Hockey, please visit www.usahockey.com.
